grand jury may charge mother of Relisha Rudd - obstruction of justice

Time for some parental accountability.

What a terrible idea. Would this encourage or discourage other parents from reporting their children missing in the future? Doesn't seem like charging her would benefit any other children in the future.

This case is totally out of the ordinary. The mother should be charged.

Any parent who doesn't report their child missing should be charged. I can't imagine there is any parent out there who wouldn't report their child missing unless they were somehow involved. "oh my kid has been missing for a week. I totally didn't realize it. oh well". Yeah, no innocent parent is going to do something like that.

Charging her is over due.

Are you sure you know the facts of the case? I think the obstruction case would center on her not reporting the girl missing but also that when it was discovered she was missing, the mother stonewalled and that hindered the investigation.

How so?
You charge when u get evidence and can make it stuck, not just when you feel like it.

They have plenty of evidence.

Why didn't the mother realize her child was missing?

Because she doesn't care.

She sent her daughter away with the guy so he could torture and rape her in complete seclusion.

Ok Nancy Grace, if you say so. I assume you know exactly what evidence they have to be able to charge her and to make it stick, and put her away for or a long time OR to coerce her into telling what she knows.
Maybe they should get you to run this case.
