Backlash against college educated women

Yeah but the south has strict gender roles and a history of white man rule, so that makes sense.

So being historically ruled why white men is bad?

And if you think it will not happen to you, think again.

We support women making those lifestyle choices for themselves.

Awesome~so stop pushing all your christian agendas down the rest of our throats....K!

If you don’t like trad wife instagrams, unfollow and move on.

Right? It seems like liberals constantly discuss people who outrage them - as if they're being somehow forced to follow these people.

No. It is fear that you will make me live like you do. I grew up that way- my mom was an abused SAHM with 3 kids who felt she couldn’t leave her much more powerful abusive husband. I’m not saying all SAHM’s are abused, only that I was not going to choose that given the option because of my experiences. You can laud and fetishize SAHM if you want, but I have seen the bad side of forcing women to be financially dependent upon men. If you choose it, that is fine, but don’t force everyone into it.

WTAF are you blathering about? No one is forcing anyone to be a SAHM. Are you the person who keeps repeating the same anecdote about an abused SAHM? Please stop extrapolating your experience to the millions of SAHMs who would find your tale utterly foreign to their own lives. You sound ridiculous.

No, it was about the American people rejecting the Left's utterly stupid idea that it's okay for the government to tell social media companies to censor political opponents because "we only burn the bad books." You have to be unimaginably ignorant of history to support the censorship industrial complex or any of its dog whistles about "malinformation," "misinformation," and "disinformation," all of which can more accurately be characterized as "shit that leftists disagree with."

No you absolute moron. The "leftist, liberal media" and these cries of censorship are boogeymen created by the GOP propaganda machine to delegitimize any news outlet that tries to shine a light on all their lies or any attempt to shut down their flooding the zone with sh*t.

Steve Bannon admitted it out loud:
“The Democrats don’t matter,” Bannon told Lewis. “The real opposition is the media. And the way to deal with them is to flood the zone with shit.”

That’s the Bannon business model: Flood the zone. Stink up the joint. As Jonathan Rauch once said, citing Bannon’s infamous quote, “This is not about persuasion: This is about disorientation.”

https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/16/media/steve-bannon-reliable-sources/index.html

And dummies like you have fallen for it. Get your head back on.

DP. If any group has “flooded the zone with sh!t,” it is Democrats. The nation voted against the nonsense you’ve been peddling and you’re going to have to accept it at some point. Be well.

Just look at the majority of posts on this site. Some seriously out of touch and angry people on the left. It would be concerning if they weren't such marshmallows.

Out of touch with what? The price of eggs being related to avian flu? Or the actual causes of inflation? Or the right bringing up trans stuff as a wedge issue repeatedly (every post I've seen about it on this site has generally been some MAGA type ranting that this impacts me more as a woman than abortion legislation).

Just because people who are educated don't fall for the right's propaganda, they are marshmallows?

Not the PP, but I’d say the election results pretty definitely show how out of touch DCUM liberals are.

Not really. In the end, Trump still won on a very tiny margin (one of the tiniest in the past 60 years), still the majority of POC didn't vote for him even though the percentages shifted right. The percentage shift mathematically seems more related to losing votes entirely (people not voting) than more people shifting votes to Trump. Many didn't vote for Harris over the Israeli/Palestine war, right or wrong on that one. That isn't an endorsement of Trump or MAGA policies.

This is some serious coping. The entire government structure shifted to one party.

No, it's spot on. There is no mandate. Not that the GOP ever cares about reality. They weave their own out of lies.

Substitute Harris for Trump and right for left and I'm with you. Here we all are.

The women that Vance referred to as “childless cat ladies” have been shaming me for being a married mother of two for long enough. Harris supporters are anti-mother.

Anti-mother? Harris voter here. Mother of 2 boys. There is no way on this earth I would ever vote for someone as toxic as Trump. We are raising our sons to be decent, empathetic humans. Trump embodies the opposite of any characteristics I would want my kids to ever have. Sad how many voters fell for the hate.
Are you teaching them to stay out of women's bathrooms?

Mine are in college and there are not actually women's bathrooms or men's bathrooms. They just have bathrooms.

But if that freaks you out or is something that your students can't tolerate, you still should provide them with a college education if they want that. Maybe there is a commuter school or something that would be a good option or you could find a college with bathrooms more to your liking.

Let us know how you feel when you are changing at the Y (or probably your club for the DCUM crowd) and a naked man is gawking at you. Or when you are trying to pee and some dude is peeking into your stall in jerking off.

Omg. Seriously go to a YMCA and check out the scene. The only people that ever change at a YMCA are ones that use the pool . That is little kids learning to swim and some old people doing laps. You are spending your life terrified of ghosts that don't exist.

DP. Are you the same person who claimed to be “scared” that you would be “made to be a SAHM”?

Okay. Have Daddy arrange a marriage for your daughter. that's going to go over really well. Good luck with that.

Three young women in Texas would like to have an opinion about this, but they can't, because they were killed by abortion bans.

Texas' response? They will no longer report such cases. But I promise you, this is just the beginning.

Agreed but this is actually liberating for the majority of Dems. Most Dems would love to stop having to perform "wokeness" for the left-- now they don't have to.

Several Dems I know said some variation on "I'm excited to go back to not caring about trans people at all" in the days after the election. Like this isn't what most Democrats want either.

Nope. NP. It has shone a glaringly blinding light on the ignorance of the American voter. Period. End of sentence. They fell for all the "flood the zone with sh*t" nonsense the GOP spewed, because they don't understand economics or how our government works. That's it.
