And I will repeat....Republicans with conservative Policies and Values DOES NOT unequivocally equal Trump/MAGA, as much as the Dems want to paint everyone with a wide paint brush does not make it true.

Republicans with conservative policies and values may support Harris, but they remain Republicans with conservative policies and values. That remains constant and is what I am referring to when I say stop judging and disrespecting them.

And I will repeat it’s YOUR party that allowed this vile person to become its leader, the one still pulling the strings. And I will repeat, it’s YOUR party, Trump or not, that seeks to impose those “conservative family values” on others. I will repeat- I don’t respect that and your continued demands do nothing.

This. And your “stop judging us” rings so hollow. You’re voting for a convicted felon who caused an insurrection and didn’t care that his second in command (that he picked) was in grave danger on Jan 6.
All because you’re so tied to your money and your Bible. Just stop.

BOT. Didn’t read the OP.

This.

I would totally consider voting for a Republican that:
- believed in tougher immigration policies
- believed in fiscal conservatism
- didn't believe in giving so much foreign aid (like to Israel)
- truly believed in personal freedom and not intervening in the personal lives of citizens
- believed in separation between church and state

But these "conservatives" do not exist anymore. I will never, ever vote for the current crop of "Republicans" that are obsessed with forcing conservative Christianity upon the rest of us, wasting money according to their interests, and destroying our Democracy.

OP the Republicans of yesteryear are dead. They do not exist. I don't love everything about Harris/Walz, but considering the options, it's the only sound choice. A vote for Trump is insanity. A vote for anyone else is really just a vote for Trump.

Not true. We are alive and well and may vote for Harris, but still alive and kicking.

But you don't have any candidates, so it doesn't amount to much.

Actually, that's where you are wrong. It matters so much now more than ever. Because I, like most common sense people, have my own personal political beliefs and values "regardless" of who any POTUS nominee. I am not a blind sheep voting for any candidate simply based on party affiliation. I vote based on most important issue(s) to me personally...but my political beliefs and values will not change. Republicans can vote for Democrats (I voted for Kaine) and also Republicans (I voted for Youngkin). I've never in all my life ever voted straight R or D. I vote based on the best candidate who aligns most with my political beliefs and values. Keeping in mind that it's the local state elections that will affect me personally the most...I will vote accordingly.

As for POTUS, I have moments when I feel like sitting this election out in protest...fleeting moments mind you.

Here’s the brutal truth, MAGA: You scream “America First” but your actions show it’s really “Trump First.” You’d rather see the country burn than admit it’s doing well under anyone else. You’re allergic to facts, terrified of progress, and cling to a con man who sells you fear because he knows you’re too blinded by your own ignorance to question it. You call yourselves patriots, but real patriots don’t worship one man like a god—they fight for truth, for progress, for ALL Americans. Your whole movement is nothing but a fragile ego wrapped in a flag.

Hey, OP, if you want to understand why the GOP is getting judges and disrepsected, please watch this

This is the GOP leader, and the person who is capturing the votes and imagination of some significant percentage of American voters. Understand what eugenics is and how it plays out in policy. Are these the words of someone who deserves respect? Should people who are voting for this person be judged by their actions?

It is a pretty simple question. You either think this is abhorrent and unacceptable, or you agree with it overtly or through silence.

And remember:

The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.

Republican members of Congress just voted against FEMA funding and then said NC is suffering because FEMA has too many Black employees.

Clean your own house first.

I have not heard the bit about FEMA being too Black but that’s about right for the GOP. Republicans love lecturing other people but they never clean their own house.

OP, they don't want people like you in the party or voting for them

Is it just me, or are the shots of the people behind him getting tighter and tighter?

OP, which republican party are you yearning for? MAGAs? Or this one:

The party of Reagan is dead. It may come back one day with a Liz Cheney or some other traditional conservative at the helm, but it is a far cry from where we are.
