Of course, I never claimed to speak for all of Great falls. fairfacts is a county-wide organization, so they certainly don’t speak for Great falls. But note you’re trying to put words in my mouth, I’m just refuting the claim that Great falls was somehow against your community getting a new school, because no one has ever pointed to an actual statement from any GF organization to that effect. I just see people questioning the cost, just like, as you point out, meren has, and I’ll add Dunne has. |
If Coates/McNair goes to Herndon HS, it’s almost certain Crossfield would go to KAA. The two most obnoxious groups—the pro Langley GF parents and the pro Oakton Crossfield parents—are at odds with each other. |
🤣 Your conspiracies know no end. Next you’ll be telling us that Crossfield and Langley families have space lasers. |
| As long as Coates and McNair are in Herndon Pyramid, everybody would have less concerns with KAA. Great Falls would also prefer KAA over Herndon HS if Coates and McNair are not going to KAA. |
Coates and McNair already go to Carson. No problems that I am hearing. |
So what you're saying is, as long as those kids aren't anywhere near yours you don't care where they end up. You are disgusting. At least you are admitting that your racism is part of your opposition to KAA. |
You’re responding to an anti-great falls commenter. 🤣🤣🤣. Bit of an own goal there! |
In what scenario would Great Falls kids ever go to KAA? Am I missing something? |
Dp. For that sweet aviation academy, of course.
|
DP. All of this nonsense and gobbledygook about AAP is just illustrating how confusing it is and how much it needs to be reined in. Put it in each school, close all centers, the end. It messes up EVERYTHING. |
You know AAP kids aren't the only "smart kids," right? Good grief, this program has ruined FCPS. |
+1 When it was only GT, it was tolerable because it was small. But, now, parents complain and the kid gets in. And, it starts way too early. _ |
No, do your research. South County MS is an AAP center. It doesn’t pull kids from other pyramids, but the same is true for Cooper, Johnson, and Longfellow. |
+1, We're at Gunston and I only knew one family who elected to leave the in house Local Level IV for the AAP center at Lorton Station. I do know multiple Gunston families who live in the portion of the school zoned for Hayfield and complain about how they have to go to Lake Braddock for middle school AAP instead of South County, when South County is much closer. Funny - how somehow, an issue involving South County zoning, ties back to families trying to avoid the Lewis pyramid. Lorton Station is an AAP center, and it looks like the majority of students transferring there are from Saratoga. Why isn't there Local Level IV at Saratoga? Again, instead of moving boundaries around at elementary schools and damaging communities, why isn't the school board focused on implementing Local Level IV at all schools? |
Didn't they put out a letter saying it should be a magnet school? Or was that just the Nextdoor lady? |
