You're an incredibly rude person, hey? It's pretty simple to take the 2 seconds to write spoiler alert. It doesn't hurt anyone. But as far as Katniss goes, I think it's nice to see a complex female main character in a YA novel. She's not perfect, but she's presented as strong and smart despite (and also because of) her flaws. |

1. It's a movie where nearly everyone dies.
2. Half of them are trying to free her to start the revolution, hence their dying to save her. 3. Mags??? Not sure how she was responsible for poison gas. |

They are martyrs for the revolution. They made the decision to die for her to lead the revolution. |

Remember, Katniss was thrust into her role...well she did volunteer, but to save her sister.
The quarter quell was designed to kill her (read the books). By her living, it helped to insight a revolution. Book three (mockingJay) makes her even more complex. |

| Definitely read the book. I will say that in the first movie, Katniss kills indirectly. The second movie is more violent in the sense that she kills directly. |

In the first book (probably movie too) Katniss killed directly. She killed the person who Killed Roo, and she killed at the very end the person from district one. Also, when she dropped the tracker jacket nest on the people, she knew what would happen.
She had no choice but to kill.... |

| At least mags died a quick death. As soon as she went into the fog the cannon went off. And as obvious, mags was doomed from the start. She was an elderly lady who knew how to make fish hooks but was no longer an agile killer. |

| Op here. After what she saw in the first episode is the characters so naïve as not to think that you'll man wouldn't be killed or that her designer wouldn't get killed she's causing death all around her. |
