book recommendations for airplane ride?

Anonymous
I'm heading out on a work trip tomorrow and am looking forward to using the plane ride as some needed downtime. I am looking for something light hearted and fun. Nothing something dense (i just finished The book Thief, while not necessarily dense it was definitely not light hearted)

TIA

I really enjoyed Where'd You Go Bernadette.

Really enjoyed "What Alice Forgot," by Liane Moriarity

starter for 10 - very funny.

grisham - rainmaker, runaway jury

good reads, though not light-hearted: straight man, bridge of sighs, human stain, she's come undone, first time I knew, secret history, midwives, gold coast, general's daughter.

Just read "The Last Anniversary", Liane Moriarty's second novel - light and fun, I lived it. She wrote "The Husband's Secret" and "What Alice Forgot", also good.

Yes, LOVED those Liane Moriarty books, and Where'd You Go Bernadette was great.

Books by Marian Keyes--except "This Charming man." I found that one a bit heavy.

Also anything by Sarah pekanin is great. Plus she lives in DC.
