it is a horrible idea but one that currently exists for choice programs in the DCC. I guess for kids/families that it makes sense for, that's what they are choosing to do.

I wouldn't want to force anyone on a lengthy bus ride.

2) far away
3) has few close-proximity lower-income housing options (which definitely should be changed)
4) has the lowest FARMS rate in the boundary study.

the best option would be to improve everyone's home school and provide resources to all kids at all levels, but that's not what is proposed in the boundary study.

So try to understand and be compassionate when you hear Tilden families wanting to stay together back at the neighborhood school and get that up and running with our friends from the DCC. They never wanted to get sent away in the first place. To not return them to Woodward is just wrong.

One of the factors is Stability - I think that should weigh on favor of options keeping Tilden plus DCC at Woodward.

Option 1 but with magnet programs moved to Northwood and Einstein (lowest utilization) to shift some population there in lieu of Blair and Wheaton.
