I think you may be surprised. They have a tremendous amount of leverage, including financial. Her family's business recently declared bankruptcy. |
Only because Philip put his foot down. And it appears William is not willing to budge on this, if reports are true. |

She is not going to be able to go to a British court to get custody of the heir to the British monarchy. The heir belongs to the monarchy.
That’s not how things work. Especially when it’s codified that the monarch is above the law. She has no rights. |
See, I think this could be it. She realizes that unless she stands up for this one thing, she'll lose any semblance of a voice in anything. There's no must when it comes to the education of her son. He has the resources to do anything so why not keep all doors open. |
Not really. They’ve already started tarnishing her image. With the leaked stories and all. |
Actively harming her image? Look at what the dailymail just published: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-13191311/Kate-Middleton-Prince-William-Kensington-photo.html |
| I just keep thinking about how when they took Diana’s title away, young William said he would give it back to her when he’s King. And then she died. |
She lives in a country that is about the most generous to women in divorces in the world and her sister is a billionaire. The family will be fine. Even if they somehow tried to leave her with nothing, her story would sell |

Kind of shocking how mainstream the William/Rose affair is now |
It went from "Kate only one who can manage William's angry outbursts" to "She throws things too!" to "She is unstable!" in fairly short order. Not sure that "collaborating" or not is an option for her. I think she may be out. The photo mess was likely a set up from the start. |
Oh geez. Prince William is saying, she's recovering and will back after Easter and leave her in peace. And you are reading into that that the divorce is almost final? |
QEII was the most popular of them. Now that she's dead, Kate is more popular and sympathetic than William. It will be fun seeing a modern tabloid press turn on the BRF |
Someone needs to say it, it has been pretty shocking. Kate Middleton has been 'thrown under a bus' by 'disgraceful' Kensington officials and 'ungentlemanly' Prince William - who let her take blame for Mother's Day photo blunder, Richard Eden tells Palace Confidential I think it is most likely that the photogate was a set up as part of the media campaign to damage her image, along with the solo letterhead and not mentioning her at events anymore. It makes William look callous and cold, but they must not care or feel a plot twist yet to come will vindicate his approach? |
Guys, guys. Who wants to damage the image of both Kate-the-most-popular and William-the-heir-apparent-and-now-a-cold-and-bad-husband? Hmm? |
That is not ALL that has been happening. Time will tell. |
