Evergreen Camp in Silver Spring/Kensington?

Any comments on summer camp at Evergreen on Georgia Avenue? Any other local summer camps for a 5/6 year old?

I'd love to hear about Evergreen too.

I've heard good things about Barrie Camp- but it's further from us (I don't know where you are coming from).

Any comments on Evergreen camp? I'm looking for day camp for a 6 year old, want to be sure he's well-supervised. Thanks!

we had a good experience with our 5 year old twins at evergreen and plan to send them again this year. it is the right kind of camp for this age group -- swimming 2 days/week and a field trip 1/week. but i would not say it is anything too special. definitely worth the $$, though!
