We're new to area and are needing some additional furniture items to populate our new house. We are in the market for a sectional couch, accessories like end tables and such, and possibly some bedroom furniture down the road. More or less mid-range is our price point. Our style is simple, timeless and somewhat traditional with straight lines. We also have some very unique eclectic pieces from SE Asia and Mexico. Other than the obvious chains such as Ethan Allen, Crate and Barrell, Pottery Barn, West Elm, etc..., can you recommend some good places we should pay a visit to? Thanks. |

Thanks for posting this OP I am also starting to look at furniture. I have 4 to add to your list but most are likely in the etc - CB2, Room and Board, Design within reach (not really in my reach though). A friend just told me about http://www.arhaus.com/ as well. Looking forward to see what other people say.

It is worth the trip to Green Fronts in Farmville, VA. They only charge $120 or $150 for delivery which is what the local places charge. I got a Johnathan Charles bedroom set for $7K - normally the talk down price for the bed itself is $7k at other furniture stores.
They also have other price points of furniture. It is 7 ware houses of furniture - each at a different price point/style. |
