These are the frighteningly dumb people who don't understand not every woman got pregnant during a one night stand and treats abortion like birth control and goes to a clinic and gets a card punched and the 12th abortion is free, or that every woman even WANTED the abortion.

98% of abortions in the US are elective. There was no rape or incest, no medical problems for either mother or baby.

It’s none of your business WHY a woman chooses to have an abortion and your BS 98% claim is laughable because women don’t announce the reason they’re having an abortion. You think there’s a form you fill out where you fully explain the reason? You have no damn idea why most women have one. You have no idea about their situation.None. You appear to just think the worst of women who’ve had one. You think every woman was just careless, having sec with every random guy who looks in her direction and oopsie, she got pregnant. So let’s have this careless nympho bring a baby into the world!

I love the people who are so concerned about the unborn that they vote to take away every f**king safety net to ensure the baby can be born, grow up healthy and actually give it a viable life. Not merely have it exist.

There is no love for children on the right by virtue of every despicable, draconian policy to impede a healthy life.

Birth control has become more reliable.

The same people who ignore ^^^ are trying to tell you unborn babies are not human and unborn babies are not alive.

Please do not have an abortion if that is your choice. Everyone will respect your decision. Just stay out of this matter for other women. It does not concern you.

But it concerns you?

What any other woman decides is none of my or your business.

Elective abortion is choosing to kill an unborn child. There is no medical reason to kill a healthy unborn baby, and my tax dollars are used against my will to fund Planned Parenthood.

And you would have the state force a woman to use her body against her will.

The GOP gets sick pleasure out of forcing women to do things without their consent.

Citation needed. GOP is forcing women to have sex and become pregnant?

You’re as simple-minded as that fat, dead pill-popper currently somewhere hot, who thought women taking birth control on a daily basis meant they were “sluts” basically waiting at the port for the ship to come in. You people barely know how BC works and now you think every woman who ever got pregnant, was a willing sexual partner.

Do you also not understand that not every pregnancy resulting in an abortion was a decision a couple DIDN’T want to make?

Are you the same genius with that “slave” bs?

Your comment is incoherent. You should stick to writing tinfoil posts about the secret world of forced organ donation in the US hospital system. Up next: GOP run sex camps where men and women are imprisoned and forced to have sex and the resulting pregnancies are carried to term by unwilling women who aren’t paid for their forced pregnancies- utter rubbish.

I haven’t posted a single thing about organ donation. I’ll be more “coherent”: You are as pathetic and dumb as Rush Limbaugh was when he attacked a woman for birth control. He sounded like an idiot because he clearly knew nothing about how bc works. Just like you have idea that not every woman who gets pregnant was willingly having sex, not every woman wanted to get an abortion and “incoherent” would be someone psychotically thinking they know why 98% of abortions happen. Your arrogance coupled with your ignorance is why we have elected idiots who think fetuses are carried in the stomach.

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

I can sort of understand what you posted, but you obviously cannot organize your thoughts well enough to comment coherently. It’s a waste of time to respond.

You would not donate blood to save the life of your dying child? Why not?

Jehovah's witness. And legally I DONT have to

Yes, we know you legally don’t have to save your dying child by participating in a painless and safe medical procedure. It’s one of those @sshole arguments that an emotionally disturbed person participates in to pretend they are “right,” when everyone knows only a very awful person would not want to do everything possible to save the life of their child.

The fact that you don’t understand there are actual medical reasons a parent could not/should not donate blood to their child shows how ill informed you are and why you should have zero say in any one else’s medical decisions and care.

Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, cannot place government funding toward abortion, receiving funds for certain services can free up other money for abortion.

Does that include viagra?

My NYC taxes are paying for some “pro-life” rural Medicaid recipient in a red state, I’m pretty sure you don’t actually want the people who pay most of the taxes in this country to make most of the decisions. If the states paying most of the taxes were actually making the decisions, we’d actually have a healthcare system that HELPED women who were pregnant and struggling, not making women bleed out in a parking lot.

During the 2020 presidential campaign, Joe Biden reversed his previous support of the Hyde Amendment and pledged to work to overturn it if elected.[34] In 2021, he introduced a 2022 budget that completely omitted the Hyde Amendment.[34][35]
A Labor, Health and Human Services bill unveiled in 2021 excluded the amendment.[36] However, the amendment was reinserted into the federal budget that was passed in March 2022. [37]
206 Democrats voted for the spending bill; 15 against it.[38] As reported in Roll Call, “Democrats voted overwhelmingly for the nondefense portion of the omnibus.” House Appropriations Chair Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn...."expressed frustration over her party's concession on Hyde [retaining it in the final passed omnibus bill]. She said she's the ‘first appropriations chair since 1977 to remove it because I understand that this is an offensive and discriminatory policy which has shut out countless women from the reproductive health care that they deserve for more than 40 years.’”[39]

Why are democrats fighting hard to get rid of Hyde?

Are your taxes paying for a “pro-life” red state medicaid recipient to kill babies? You would be ok with that so it’s a moot point.

Why are republicans working hard to bring back THE COMSTOCK ACT WHICH IS WHAT THIS THREAD IS ABOUT.

Planned Parenthood claims federal funds are not used for abortion, but money is fungible, so it is impossible to distinguish the funds used for abortions from funds used for other services they provide.

So yeah- my tax dollars are paying for abortion, against my will.

I don’t want to pay for anyone to have an elective abortion. If you get pregnant and don’t want your baby- pay for your own abortion.

DP. You cannot be this dense.

In addition to routinely voting against family-friendly policies supporting leave, childcare, etc., Republicans in the Senate also recently chose not to support legislation guaranteeing a right to IVF, after the blatant attack on IBF that took place in Alabama. I mean, actively showing lack of support to people trying to build their families.
