It's not advice, it's a joke. Showing the ridiculousness and moral repulsiveness of your claim that god is sending people to hell. You are the one making that claim. |
Nobody makes you believe their religion. America has freedom that is unique regarding religion; we can choose to be religious or not religious. We don’t have an official state religion. We can believe whatever we want. Each person chooses what they want to believe. It’s a founding principle. How are you forced to live according to biblical standards? |
You haven’t learned your lesson regarding authorship and the necessary verification of facts. I can’t help you if you choose to continue to ignore the importance of doing so. You will have to continue on in willful ignorance. Also: jokes are funny sometimes, but aren’t to be taken seriously. Basing your opinion or beliefs on a joke by a drug addicted comedian is pretty unserious by all standards. Carlin made money off his jokes, millions, so he definitely had a reason to appeal to people who were not discerning about their sources. |
Except for the “religious right” who is trying to force their religious beliefs down everyone’s throats. (Or up their…) |
You're kidding me, right? https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=ways+the+christian+right+is+forcing+legal+changes |
This is a very dishonest post by you. In fact it is a lie. Many citations were provided earlier in this thread and you haven't provided a refutation to a single one. You are dishonest. You wish people who don't believe as you to suffer for eternity. You are a bad person.
More freaking irony breaking the iron-o-meter. |
More than one person is responding to you. |
That's fine. If they disagree with what I have attributed to them, I welcome them to state that. If they don't disagree, then the point applies to multiple posters. |
Too bad this thread went off the rails. It actually started as a good faith discussion |
Outside of marriage, yes. Different by degree perhaps, but both are sin. Did you think I would argue about that? Wow. You really don’t understand me then. |
You’re replying to the wrong person. I’m the one who pointed out that those who choose to turn their backs on God and urge others to as well, or make jokes of sexually defiling a church or religious practice, would one day learn that Hell is indeed quite real. And it will be quite crowded, I’m sure - but it will always have room for one more. You’ve got the ability (at the present) to spare yourself of that. But as they say in commercials, it’s a limited time offer. When you die, it’s too late. We’re only alive on earth for a lifetime. What’s a lifetime compared to eternity? You should open yourself to God while you still have time. |
God doesn’t send people to Hell. People send themselves there, by Free Will. |

And as with most threads here, atheists simply cannot resist inserting themselves into the middle of the discussion and calling everyone not an atheist a kook. They’re drawn to it like moths to porch light. It’s fetishistic. |
Lust is lust. Even for a heterosexual married couple. |
