financial situation

Here is the situation I am student in college, paying off a loan, one parent recently lost their job.. and I have a younger brother about to attend college as well. I joined the forum looking for a live in position possibly to ease the situation and help my family. Wanted to ask if anyone had any advice or resources? I am trying to find a place to stay and pay off school.

A live-in position doing what? Your parent needs to apply for unemployment immediately, your brother needs to apply for financial aid and scholarships, and you need to apply for financial aid and scholarships.

Anybody who lets you live in their house for reduced rent will expect something in return like nannying. And if they're giving you reduced rent then you won't earn a lot of cash. Perhaps your parents can rent out one of their bedrooms though, to bring in more money.
