Help me find a duvet cover please

Anonymous
I want to cry with frustration. My budget is absolutely no more than $200.

I have one set of sheets that are light blue and one set that is light purple.

I like bedding that is colorful yet not busy (chevron, for example, is busy - it looks like it's moving).

I am not opposed to getting two different duvet covers - one in softer blues/purples for winter and one in more crisp kelly green and aquas for summer. But I can't seem to find either.

Almost got this, but then wasn't sure: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80224906/

I bought this, but then returned it because the background was much darker than it appeared online: http://www.westelm.com/products/playa-stripe-...acet-_-NoFacet-_--_-

Please help! I feel like I've looked EVERYWHERE (Target, All Modern, West Elm, Macys, Nordstrom, Company Store, Pottery Barn, etc.).

I'm not sure what size you're looking for (and they all vary by several inches), but I would try Overstock, LL Bean, and Z Gallerie. Good luck.

Sorry - queen sized.

Sign up for Garnet Hill's emails. They have frequent sales. Also look at the Company Store and Lands' End Home.

I second (or third) overstock. I get most of my sheets from there.

Have you looked at the Jonathan Adler collection at JC Penney? It's got that really modern look you might like and it's not pricey. Also, Kohls has a lot as do Urban Outfitters, H&M and Anthropologie and the Company Store.

You're crying with a budget of $200 for a fucking cover?

Did you fall asleep in the snow and freeze your brain?

You know, I love Jonathan Adler, but all his bedding is either too plain or too busy. His busy is just like Trina Turk's busy. I wish he'd hit that sweet spot in between the two.

I've gotten two sets of bedding from overstock- one is a duvet cover and I love it. Highly, highly recommend. And they're usually so cheap you could afford 2 on your $200 budget.

You can sew together two flat sheets to create a duvet cover you like. There are a lot of tutorials online.

I also think you should check out Macy's, though. I like their Style and Co brand.

I agree that the OP is overreacting, but nice bed linens are expensive.

OP, you know you can buy two flat sheets and bring them to a tailor to sew them together to make a duvet? It works perfectly.
