What's going on with Daisy and the other kitchen girl and the boys. Why did Daisy start to confide in Thomas? I think I've missed what's going on. Tia |
Daisy likes Albert. Albert likes Ivy. Ivy likes Jimmy. Jimmy just wants to get into Ivy's pants. |
There is a love triangle going on. James is pretending to like Ivy. Ivy likes James. Arthur (is that the tall guy's name?) likes Ivy (for real - James is just effing with him). Daisy likes Arthur-what's-his-name.
Daisy confides in Thomas because, with the grace of God, she still trusts him. |
I think Thomas just stumbled across Daisy when she was still realizing what she had done. I'm happy if Albert goes, and I'm hoping he takes Jimmy with him. That whole storyline is so damned dull and annoying. I WOULD like to see Daisy get some action, though! And Thomas, for that matter.
Mrs. Patmore's comment about spending too much time on a one-sided love made me wonder about her backstory. It also made me agree that the show's writers were spending too much time on the one-sided love storyline! ![]() |
I don't know. I can't tell the dreary women in this supposed triangle apart. One of the men is taller and one has floppy hair. That's all I got. |

It's a tired story line. I was hoping they wouldn't pursue it for this season. But they did.
I'm really disappointed in this season. Most of it is the same old stuff. I think the rape was supposed to be a new and edgy story line, but even that wasn't written well. |
I saw the UK season - it is ridiculously slow in the beginning but it gets somewhat better later on. |
