Recommendations on wooden swingsets

We are looking to buy a wooden swing set for the yard. Does anyone have recommendations for what/where to buy one?

We got one from Creative Playthings in Chantilly. I was happy with the service when buying it, and the installation. They did leave the handles loose on one part, but when I called, they came right out and fixed them. Their prices were also cheaper than some of the other places we looked at.

This is the one we got:

As a partial answer to the "where?" part of your question, I'd suggest keeping an eye on Craig's List for a second-hand one. I couldn't believe how expensive they are new, but we ended up getting one that was only 3 months old for $350 through Craig's List. The down side is that you may have to disassemble/move/re-assemble yourself, which is a very unpleasant task, judging by the number of expletives shouted by my spouse during the process.

If you are a member, Costco is selling a great wooden swing set right now. I don't recall the price, but it is sure to be fair if not cheaper than some where else. They also have a really cute wooden plaly house for under 300.

We got the same one from Creative playthings as the 10:35 PP. Our kids love it. RE: the one at Costco, my neighbor has it and the swings seem too close together, plus, unless you or your husband is very handy and has all the right tools, it will take many hours to put together. That being said, we did get a great sandbox from costco and had our landscaper bring river sand to fill it.
