book recommendations for parenting tweens and all the issues that go along with it?

Our oldest is 11 and we are realizing we are not really sure what we are doing when it comes to tweendom and teenage years. I do not want a totally combative relationship, but it is very frustrating and hard to understand what is going on. Any books you found helpful at this point would be greatly appreciated.
