Box of soy milk is almost two months past "best used" date--toss it?

If it smells fine, I'd use it. I have some mysterious milk in my fete that was best sold by Dec 3 that still tastes fresh. I'd toss if it smells at all bad or if the box has swelled. If not, I'd taste a small amount and see if I detect anything wrong. If it's dangerous, it won't be subtle about it.
