what do you serve for breakfast on Christmas morning? Looking for ideas

Anonymous
We are having family over for breakfast on Christmas morning. In years past, my parents have done breakfast and we have often had homemade waffles. I'm looking for other ideas though in case we'd like to switch it up. Are there any Christmas breakfast traditions in your family that you look forward to each year? We will have 8 adults and 2 children, but I'm really looking for ideas for the adults. (The kids are toddlers and will likely just want their usual cereal, etc.) Thanks!

I am sure it is one of the unhealthiest meals I have ever eaten- but every year our family does cream chipped beef and biscuits!

Homemade coffee cake, breakfast sausages and absolutely nothing healthy to counteract the sugar bombardment to come.

+1 We always do cinnamon rolls, bacon and fruit. Yum! Getting excited even thinking about it.

We prepare a Christmas breakfast casserole (cheese, eggs, sausage, bread chunks etc) the night before and put it in the oven on Christmas morning. Delicious. No work.

I always wonder what the bread pieces do for this casserole?

Cinnamon rolls, coffee, and clementines. We don't have a big group staying at our house so we don't do a full spread.

We do this too. So easy, so delicious. And every year my mom makes the same comment about how we should make it with a bunch of vegetables instead. Blasphemy!!

Cheeseburger omelets and french toast. I make the french toast a day or two before Christmas morning and after cooling off pack it in ziplock bags. Just heat them up that morning.

I don't get fancy with the omelets. Just ground beef and personal choice of cheese.
