Last month, my period did not come at all. i had some small spots and when i wore tampon, it stopped. This week i was expecting for it. I know it should come, i feel all the signs before it comes like headache, break outs, dysmenorrhea, laziness blah blah.. I know its there but it does not want to come out. I felt so uncomfortable. is there anything i can do to let it come out? i was told to drink very cold soda, have you ever heard about that? or beer? any medicine? FYI : I am 200% sure I am not pregnant because never had sex for the last 2 months. Please advice!!! feel really uncomfortable already...... I hope it comes today. Thanks! |
Are you exercising really hard and/or not eating much? That can stop your period and it's not an uncommon problem for high-level athletes. I was a month late after taking a three-week Outward Bound course. |
How old are you? Anywhere close to maybe menopause? |
i do not exercise but yes I'm on a diet. I started 2 weeks ago. Anything I can do to have my period come out? |
I am only 27 years old. |
I had the same problem a few years ago - I was dieting and under a lot of stress. After a few months when I was taking better care of myself I got back to normal. |
really? anything to take that will help my period come out? im just so uncomfortable especially with my breakouts! feels gross.... |
Do you have acne? Especially on the lower part of your face and neck? Do you have facial hair? Are you overweight? Those are signs of PCOS along with long/irregular/anovulatory cycles.
You can also have PCOS without any of the other symptoms. Make an appoint. with your OB to check things out. |
You know, I was writing you a post about a D&C for a missed period when I stopped and read your post a second time.
You said you haven't had sex in over two months so you're 100% sure you're not pregnant. But then you said last month's period was only spots and a tampon wasn't even warranted, it was so light. This month you have cramps and all the symptoms, but no period. I would take a pregnancy test and see if you're pregnant. When I was trying to have my last child, I was sure I wasn't, because I got my period right on time. It was light, but it was on time and I was bleeding. We kept trying and the next month, I was late so I took the test and was pregnant. Surprise, because when the OB did the initial ultrasound later, I had been pregnant a month before I knew about it, from that "light period" that was really only spotting. I would advise you to see a GYN right away. If you're pregnant, you need to know asap, and if you're not, maybe you had a missed miscarriage? Either way, you need to know what's going on inside. Good luck! |
