Not surprising in that everyone - except for a few deluded Democrats - know that he will be acquitted by the Senate and we will move on to other things.

Actually, I heard the reason they shrug off the impeachment is because they believe that Trump will try to work with the Democrats going forward. Plain and simple. They think it will bring balance to the president.

I wish. I wish. I wish. He won't. He won't. He won't. My prediction: He'll be the only president in US history to be impeached a second time.

I think they can do it a few more times. I mean if "obstruction of congress" is impeachable, then they can pass an article of impeachment every time the executive doesn't go along with the legislature. Heck, every time he vetos a bill will be an impeachable offense.

You mean every time he instructs people not to comply with subpoenas. Right.

Of course, this has nothing to do with the economy according to a few self-professed experts!

I thought cons all predicted that the market would crash if Donald Trump were impeached?

Yea, we overestimated the imporatance of the impeachment. Once it has been shown that this is nothing but an episode of political theater, the market realized that there is zero substance behind it.

In otherwords, even as wel recnogized the Democratic party for being wildly ineffective, Nancy found away to underperform even this minimum level of expectation.

Haha. The third president in the history of the country to be impeached -- that's not winning. Nancy is not the loser today.

Interesting articles around the past few days. Lots of people working multiple jobs. About half the jobs in America are low wage jobs.

So yeah, the economy is great if you need a job. Less so if you need a good one.

None of this is Trump related. This is about the Republican war on unions and worship of the so called free market. But Trump hasn’t done much about it either....save cutting taxes for corporations. But hey! Dollar stores are in expansion mode! Awesome!

With the low bar for impeachment established by Nancy, this is going to be like an achievement award for future presidents. Democrats are the destroyer of institutions - they throw hissy fits and abuse the mechanisms of our government for their own political purpose. When something doesn't go their way, it's no longer that their policy is bad, but the mechanism that's bad. Can't get Demoratic agenda through in the Senate? Employ the nuclear option - institution destroyed. Can't pass anything through Congress? Executive overreach - institution destroyed. Don't like the election results? Abolish the electoral college - institution destroyed.

In other words, whether or not Trump is in office the market can do just fine. So why are you sticking with a con man with no moral core who daily embarrasses this nation and degrades the office of the presidency and acts like a petulant bully you'd not want your own child to emulate?

This a weird statement. Somehow unemployment at 3.5% with low wages is worse than much higher unemployment with $0 wages. And somehow the reduction in people returning to the workforce is worse than not returning. Millions of people have returned to the workforce who had quit looking and fell off unemployment rolls.

Low bar? You thought having consensual sex with a woman who wasn't his wife was a good reason to impeach? If yes, how do you feel about having a president who was banging porn stars and violated campaign finance laws trying to cover it up?

Heck, I'd consider voting for him ......... though I dislike him. Now there are millions of voters who dislike Trump as a person but will give him full credit for the fantastic economy.

I shudder to think where the stock market or unemployment rate would be if Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders were elected president.

You might get a chance! Find yourself a good money manager who knows how to plan for this eventuality. There is money to be made in failure too.

As we all know from the futures traders who have made billions during Trump’s administration several times when the market dove after some controversial Trump remarks or actions. Almost as if they got wind of the statements beforehand.

The low bar was established by Newt. Impeaching a president for lying about a blowjob that was not material to conduct of the state moved the needle. At least in this case, we are talking about the sanctity of our election and conspiracy against the people of the United States - ie not a low bar.
