DC would prefer Oregon. But waiting to hear from usual local suspects ( VT, UMD) and Purdue.

Not that part of the state from Sept to May. Maybe kid can just go for summer classes?

I think the weather in Eugene is overplayed. My happy kid there skis all the time and loves the winter. Yes, it rains but unless someone has a real seasonal issue, I don’t think anyone would notice more than just about anywhere else.

Yay! Care to share if it’s in the running for your DC’s choice?

Hope so. We have twins who got into honors, and got merit of $30K per year for one, and $20K for the other. TBH, torn about this, Will be a financial relief for us but don't want to inhibit them in any way. Feels good to have something in hand though

Howdy! And congrats!

DC was accepted to their Kinesiology program and we’re slated to visit in February. Nervous (because it’s so far) but excited for the adventure.

I can appreciate that sentiment - especially not wanting to influence one way or the other.

Keep us posted on the deliberations. 😊
