If you look earlier in the thread, you can see that a WaPo reporter is working on it. It takes some time to report out a story like this, and I imagine it’s hard finding families willing to talk on the record.

But there are facts that could be reported…. An arrest was made and perp is being held. I think the facts would have been easy enough to validate with court records.

You seem a little too close to the story. When the other Swim dad from Arlington got arrested for child porn it wasn’t in the news either. Many of us couldn’t believe it because our kids played sports with his kids over the years, but then I realized, unfortunately there’s hundreds of these cases every day. While this one may be more high profile bc of his work, typically you let the initial hearings occur to get more facts before dropping a story.

Some – not all. Typically when it’s a teacher, coach, etc. Trust that this is going to be hitting the media.

No kidding. What I’m saying is typically you wait to have more facts and press releases based on the hearings. Unless you won’t report reporting from the daily mail.

Have you read the case reports? Tons of facts there, very little of which has been reported by the media (or, has been reported inaccurately)

This whole thing sounds like some type of orgy or throuple or affair while the kids are getting sexually abused. I hope they are doing fitness tests for the parents, who exercised remarkable negligence as well.

This mama heart is fully broken for these babies, and I can’t reconcile any of the decisions the parents made.

The victims (little children!!!) have a public YouTube account. What the hell is wrong with the parents? All of this is insane. Maybe there is a lot more going on here than reported in the charging documents. Those poor babies. I hope there is a GAL appointed.
