For once in a lifetime it’s not us versus them. They all are together in this pursuit. They aren’t demonizing each other or competing with each other. They’re holding each other up.

I'm so annoyed by "this ain't Texas, ain't no hold em" because that just that much of the song is played on the morning shows, etc. and even though I've never heard the whole song, that line gets stuck in my head.

Wendy Williams summed it up when she said Beyoncé sounds like she has a 5th grade education.

She isn’t deep.

And you glossed over the key point: she uses a fake persona to push a narrative through lyrics that just isn’t authentic. Even worse: she’s fanning the flames of racism despite having never endured it. Why? Because it’s a way to manipulate and make money.

And here we are…a divided society.

Authentic? 1997 called. They want their descriptor back. Who is under the impression that any pop stars are authentic.

We aren’t a divided society because of Beyoncé. Slavery based upon race did really happen in the USA long before Beyoncé. Things occurred before the internet.

yeah it's bad to say but she strikes me as someone with limited opinions on issues because she's ignorant and doesn't care enough to learn

He was also apolitical, uncharitable, misogynistic, and still clinging to vestiges of street life. I say this as a huge Jay Z fan, but Beyonce had a big impact on his maturation and worldview. It's very dismissive to think Beyonce is a vapid simpleton because she doesn't share or emote much publicly.
