I am 5'4" and 129. I wear size 4, 26 jeans, 4 petite in dress slacks. Fours fit really well, maybe even a smidge loose. I think under 125 and I would be a 2. I'm not really that slender so I think it's just rampant size inflation.

I am 5 ft 2 inches and 97-99lbs and have been my entire adult life (outside of pregnancy/postpartum). For YEARS I was a solid 2 and sometimes a petite 4 and now I swim in double zeros, the size vanity thing really is insane.

I think it is interesting how so many different weights and sizes can wear the same size clothing.

I am the OP of the original thread (about size 8) and I can tell why that one was created, but I have nothing to do with the other ones. I am having weight loss surgery in less than a month and visualizing my goal body helps me through the pre-op diet I am on. So I just wanted to get an idea of what kind of number I am looking for on the scale that will tell me I am around a size 8. I have never been that size in my whole adult life, so I would never know.

5'7'' 134 - size 4. Super skinny (almost too skinny) on the top, but I have a nice sized butt, so I need to stay at least below 135 to keep by butt from getting out of control.

How about you?

I'm about 1/4 inch shorter and 1 or 2 lbs heavier. Usually wear 4 but with the vanity sizing...I'm looking at you J. Crew...I sometimes wear 2.
