Does anyone have experience with this medical clinic in Upper Cardozo? I have been seeing a family practice physician for the past 2-3 years here. Thankfully up till now i have not had any major physical health problems. However, recently I had a mammogram at GW and was informed that it was incomplete and need to return for further imaging. The problem is i cannot reach my primary physician nor his nurse to request a new referral script. The office places me on hold and does not get back to you.
Anyone else have this experience. I would change providers but am severely limited by my medical coverage.

I recommend you call and speak with the office manager at the clinic. Also, let the radiology department know that you are unable to reach your doctor for the follow up referral and ask if they can call on your behalf and request this. Definately be persistent until you get some type of response.

Thank you, i persisted and got through to a office manager who transferred me to a nurse practitioner who tells me she will attempt to get the referral form I need from my Primary physician. Will wait and see if any of this happens.
