kitchen sink that is easy to clean

Anonymous
We have an old aluminum (I'm guessing) kitchen sink and the area around the faucet gets grimy very easily. I'd like to replace the sink with something that stays clean longer, if that is possible. I haven't done any research into kitchen sinks, so I figured I'd throw it out here. Are there any sink materials that are particularly easy to keep clean?

I love stainless steel. I clean mine with Barkeepers best friend or Ajax bleach stuff and they shine.

Yes, and OP you need to just clean the area around the faucet frequently. Those get grimy no matter what the materials. I don't know a miracle answer to those staying any cleaner without just cleaning them.

I wipe the down this area with a mixture of white vinegar and water that I keep in a spray bottle.
