I am in the process of making some frozen meals before the baby comes and I want make some Indian rotis and freeze them. I will just roll them out and pan fry them only as needed. My question is what can I separate the rotis with when I freeze them? Wax paper or parchment
Paper or the foil? Thanks! |
| No to the foil. It stick and breaks off. I would place them flat on a cook sheet in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. After that you can packet them in a ziplock bag removing as much air as you can. |
| I store cooked rotis in the freezer. I put wax paper between each, then wrap the stack with cling-wrap, and store in a plastic freezer bag. |
| Agree with freezing them, at least partially, on a baking sheet in the freezer and then packaging them in whatever method you prefer (freezer bag, etc). |
