FYI -- extended hours to get a DC One Card if your child's school does not handle this:

DC One Card Customer Service Centers at Wilson and Deanwood Will Expand Monday Office Hours

(Washington D.C.) In response to increased demand for Student DC One Cards, the DC One Card Customer Service is expanding service hours every Monday, starting September 23 until further notice at the Wilson Aquatic Center and Deanwood Recreation Center. At these locations, the Customer Service Center will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. each Monday during this time.

With the expanded hours on Monday, District parents seeking a student DC One Card for their child(ren) have another option, in addition to Wednesday, to visit a DC One Card center in the evening.

The DC One Card staff advises parents to bring proof of identity, proof of DC residency, and proof of relationship for minors. Also, please arrive before 6:00 p.m. on Mondays or Wednesdays, if possible, to ensure that you are seen by a staff person during your visit.

The Wilson Aquatic Center is located at 4551 Fort Drive, NW (near the Tenleytown Metro Station) and the Deanwood Recreation Center is located at 1350 49th Street, NE (near the Deanwood Metro Station).
