Do you read Trump's twitter feed? It is tamer now than it was, but still not at all presidential or "strong leader". Getting pneumonia doesn't make you weak, it makes you human. |
Ding ding ding...we have a winner. The HRC campign has been trying to hide her health issues. Thank god someone caught them |
That's not what I asked. Of course, the President travels with a doctor. My question is whether his doctor is always standing a few feet away as Hillary's is. |
The point is that today's developments are making many of us think it is more than pneumonia. I thought all this talk about her health was ridiculous and frankly, kind of sexist, up until now. After today's video plus the way the whole thing went down (leaving a 9/11 memorial, saying she was overheated, the falling into the car, several hours later a doctor saying it was pneumonia), I feel very differently. I think there's something bigger going on and the "let's let them think it is just political bashing" facade is failing. It won't change my support for the Democratic party. But I certainly will be doing a LOT more reading on Tim Kaine and understanding him. Not that we have much choice at this point. If this had happened before primaries, I would have withdrawn support from Clinton and put it behind a different candidate. |
It's more than pneumonia |
No, she looks like a weak leader. I wouldn't hire someone with medical events like this to babysit my children. |
Agree. Maybe she just isn't good at knowing her limits and managing her health? If you are so sick that you might literally collapse in the next (highly publicized) couple of hours, maybe get some rest instead. |
And that's why she is never seen or heard, ever, anywhere, and we discovered her pneumonia at the press conference. Wait a minute! That's not what's happening at all! |

In the calculus between skip the 9/11 service because of illness and go and hope to make it through okay, she chose to go. Did she make the right decision or the wrong one? I don't know, either way there would be conspiracy theories. She made a choice and went to the service. |
She's been coughing and stumbling around for months. Seizing up, that big black guy with the Epipen has been following her around. Yeah, it's more than pneumonia. |
FFS, he's a Secret Service agent carrying a flashlight. She's sick, had been standing in the sun for over an hour in a pantsuit with high humidity and she got light-headed/fainted. Big whoop! She has pneumonia and not even a serious case requiring hospitalization. It's not a new chronic condition or a terminal disease. If she got a medical clearance in two weeks, it wouldn't even be worth mentioning. Why should any President or presidential candidate disclose a temporary illness if it doesn't impact their schedule. Shouldnl her campaign tweet every time she has a headache or send out a press release if she has a stomache? |
This is what I was thinking - with her dark suit, and apparently she wears a bulletproof vest. If she were in the sun for a long time I would understand feeling a bit sick. But the video looks bad. |
Liar. |
It wasn't hot out, nor was it that humid. He may be SS, but he's carrying an Epipen for sure. |
