Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
|
Do you guys blame Abby Zwerner for being shot by a 6-year old too?
When you say you blame MCPS, is that the teachers or the administrators or what? Because I can tell you teachers would absolutely control violent students if we could, but we are out of options. Teachers want this solved more than you do. But our only option at this point is to quit. |
No one is blaming the teachers. I am a former MCPS teacher who withdrew my child after he was assaulted. I can say with authority this is on MCPS. Who is in charge of ensuring proper supervision?? MCPS. This is an administrative issue. They are failures at their jobs. Failures. |
The school isn’t going to release any of that information, nor are they required to do so. |
Oops! Put PP in their place. 😂 |
| This garbage needs to stop. Zero tolerance. You’re violent — to any degree — in school? Rooms have to be cleared because of you? No more Gen Ed as the immutable default. Online school exists. Bye. |
MCPS took away online school. Keep up. |
🙄🙄🙄 |
If your personal opinion is true, then kids need to live at home until 26. No driving, no drinking, no military, no signing contracts. After all, tHeIr bRaInS aReN’t fULlY dEvElOpEd. 🙄 |
🙄 |
I agree with her and I’m not Central Office, not a teacher, not employed by a school or school district in any way. You are ridiculous. |
Oh, I didn’t realize you were dumb. Thru took away COVID virtual. Online schooling exists all over the country. Keep up. |
We are mainly blaming administrators and Central Office, although in the case with Lenny, there's an argument that the PE teacher failed to provide the necessary supervision and vigilance that would have prevented this incident from escalating. |
DP-nope. I'm a parent. I do not expect MCPS to teach my kids right from wrong. I expect them to teach math, English, social studies, etc...This would not have happened if they were raised right. What is absolutely disgusting is parents relying on everyone else but themselves to raise their kids and then conveniently blaming everyone else when their kid messes up. |
Exactly. It is ALWAYS,ALWAYS the parents who refuse to do the heavy lifting who are overly defensive about issues like this. It's so very predictable. |
So you wouldn’t want an adult who is tasked with supervising your child intervene before they get impaled in the skull during class? |
