Did those two Hero’s girls not play in NGLL?

I'd bet on the "grass is always greener" being a pun. Ha!

Its not 1/4 of the girls. Its a few. But they're worried about positions, playtime, nepotism. Especially with recruiting looming around the corner

The 2030s are moving out of NGLL and into showcases for recruiting. Clubs usually give equal playing time when it transitions there. They could have an issue with being forced into a position they may not prefer, due to nepotism or other factors.

Capital has proven they can get their B team girls recruited. The other programs have not. They only focus on their A teams.

As as others have previously mentioned, relying on any program to get your DD recruited makes no sense at all. Definitely not a reason to choose a team. It never makes sense that so many expect the program to “get their girl recruited.”

Similarly, relying on an any college or university to get your DD a job makes no sense. It's definitely not a reason to choose a school. Do you really think going to Princeton is going to help get your DD a job?
The club reputation can get coaches to the sideline and help with their network but your player must do emails, the prospect camps and perform when it counts! Your player needs to be better than average if they want to play D1. It doesn’t matter what team your kid is on if they don’t play that well so work on speed, train on own time and don’t rely on the club or your high school to develop your player. Do the work yourself it’s all about what the player does on their own.

This is some dumb stuff up there.

It won’t matter if you’re on M&D Black if your player isn’t better than average—um they are if on M&D Black

It won’t matter if your player is on M&D Black if they suck at every showcase—no sh*t. The point is it’s unlikely they’ll suck. But if they play like they’re Stars level at every showcase…. Same will be the case if they wear a racist t-shirt or curse out the refs.

And I love the Yale and Princeton Law grad who thinks his big law job is because he’s a great person and hard worker. As someone else said, good luck getting the same job to the hardworking Mother Theresa of a person from Frostburg State (if they had one) Law School.

I think the children should exit DCUM now.

That’s exactly what has happened. Surprised that they and their parents didn’t see this coming. The writing on the wall has ALWAYS been there in very plain sight.

You sound like a Black parent who drinks the kool aid. Amazing that you would assume the law grad is a he. Also your elitism reeks. Please go sit down and resume your Adderall addiction. lol 😂

I think this is from the 2031 Black goalie’s dad that all the coaches speak so negatively about. Pay it no mind

Clubs, like colleges, have brands, those brands have value.

You don’t think M&D black is going to get better offers than HoCo? Similarly, you don’t think Princeton grads have better opportunities than Salisbury grads?

Yes, of course. One of the reasons you go Ivy is it opens doors for the rest of your life.

Spoken like the man whose friends got into Ivy League schools and he didn’t. Sorry you feel so bad about yourself

Please, he would never say things like this. He’s crazy in his own way but never nasty or mean spirited ever. And you’re right, coaches don’t like him because he’s intense and a bit nutty but he’s harmless. Don’t let the literal children on this forum fool you.

M&D Black has their open practice on Thursday. There will be plenty there who think they’re good enough to play with that team, but truly aren’t. The funny thing is that the surprise roster busters won’t be at the open practice. They won’t fly in until tryouts, and the current (to be kicked off) players and parents won’t know what hit them. It’s sad to watch but happens every time an M&D Black team transitions from 8th to high school. There are 3 current 2030 Black players whose days are getting short
