Does anyone know the sign language for smoothie?

Anonymous
DD has learned about 6 signs now and i want to add this one to the list as its something I make her at home.

If you have a link to a video showing it that would be even better.

Thanks, I have tried google and cant find it.

Is she HOH or deaf and you are teaching her ASL or are you just using baby signing with a hearing child?

Op here, Im using baby sign language with a hearing child.

She does the milk sign to say shes thirsty, Its turned into everything from milk to water to a smoothie. I would like to be able to differentiate.

What does this even mean? What's wrong with OP taxing her kid sign language? I'm teaching my six year old because he has two deaf friends. I think it's great of others learn.

And OP, don't know the sign for smoothie. I've always spelled it out. The girl in this video is spelling it out too.

I would try "S drink":

Since you're not teaching ASL just make one up. No biggie.

You can search on YouTube for American Sign Language smoothie. There are a bunch of videos. Maybe one will say the word?

I would make a whirlybird motion - for the blender!

I think the sign for blender would be perfect. Op my son has a speech delay but is doing well with learning Signs so I am working with him to learn more specific signs in order to have better communication and meet his needs without the guessing game until he starts talking. I think making one up would be fine too since he won't need to use it as his only means of communication later on. That's what the speech therapist said about him having his own versions of signs. We aren't worried about him getting totally accurate as long as we both know what he means. I see this post is old but it popped up for me when I googled so thought my comment might help others when they google it too
