They'll be lucky if they make it out of group stage. The VA mid atlantic is weak.

Disagree. That team has picked up Five ECNL players in 2025 who are going to playoffs. They have a chance depending what the group looks like. Agree that Mid Atlantic is a weak division. Will have a much harder time next year!

Five players who could not make or were cut from Arlington, Union and Bethesda or left NVA. All those 09 teams are mid to poor. There can only be 1 come u16-17 and thats VDA. I'm sure this fab 5 can compete in GA, just settle down about bringing in these big ECNL additions. Thanks!

That's a very solid end to VRSC's first season in GA. Final places in the tables:

2012: 7 of 14
2011: 7 of 14
2010: 7 of 14
2009: 1 of 14
2008: 5 of 14
2006/07: 13 of 14

The U19s never really had a chance, as committed players obviously were not going to leave their clubs post-commitment, but every other squad over-performed expectations on this board. Now the question is whether they can improve on these results next year.

So translation is the U19's never had a shot, because they were stuck with the original VRSC players and not able to get any players from FCV like some of the other age groups... Got it!

Thank you FCV for saving Rev!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does it matter how and where they came from? And why do you automatically assume that they either didn’t make it or they got cut? Few of those girls are the starting line up and playing almost entire game from their former teams and left on their own accord bc distance, commute time, wanting to have a life and play HS soccer. Stay in your lane. Seems you’re a little worried or jealous even. VDA may be one of the best in the mid Atlantic but they still have a lot of work to be done to keep up with the best of the best out West!!!

215 pages of talk about this club only proves that VRSC is doing something right. The more you bash them and keep this thread alive the more they are winning. Keep it up!

Imagine being the bitter troll who hangs out on this thread only to bash and talk nasty with personal attacks. Now troll along and troll the other threads too. Sad.

At least two players were starters and left their previous Club. Another one is still with an ECNL club, is a starter, and joining after the season. The other three had already joined VRSC before tryouts even happened. Pretty hard to get cut when you don’t try out. Nice of you to bash minor girls in forum like they are nobodies. Just wanted to set the record straight.

Oh, and to be fair, I did say next season would be much tougher. Feel free to post what Club and age group you are representing Negative Nancy.

Who said anything about being on the same level as VDA??? There is nothing to be insecure about if you are in fact a VDA parent. In fact, I don’t think you are because you would not care about VRSC and understand that VRSC is zero threat to you. Strange.

Are any of the other VRSC GA teams making significant additions next season?

This is comical. Alexandria is a has been and that is well known. Especially 2012-2009 levels. Most players left in protest of GA and they had to take in all of Arlington’s bottom of barrel cuts made this last ID season.

Adding CISC and NVA is the main reason, at least for 09s pending how many players stayed. Outside of those two, I don't think there is much of a threat for 2009s group.
