Fall Play & Workshop Program in Virginia

Parenting Playgroups' Play & Workshop is a 90 minute weekly class for parents and children to attend together. The first 30 minutes offers open play and an art project for parents and children to enjoy together. For the next 60 minutes parents attend a workshop with Dr. Rene Hackney on a wide range of parenting topics such as positive discipline, sibling relationships, early academic issues and self esteem. Each workshop time includes 10 minutes of open Q&A. While the parents are in the workshop, children enjoy a snack and playtime with our well qualified preschool teachers.
