Gardening Help Can I plant new things from seeds now?

My cucumber plants have just about had it. Every year, they come up pretty fast from seeds. Can I pull out the old ones and start another crop?
It doesn't get cold here until October but my garden is usually fading off by August. Looking to see if I can keep the veggies going. |
