I'm sad to say, I've haven't read a good book in a really long time. Looking for an engaging read that isn't too difficult to get into (since it's tough to get more than 15 minutes at a sitting these days).
Any recommendations--preferably something I can download on my Kindle? |
The Fountainhead.
<KIDDING.> |
I just read "the thorn birds"-definitely beach reading if you enjoy multi generational stories. |
Tell us more of what you want. Humor, mystery, sex?
Humor - Mindy Kaling's boom was hilarious Mystery - Gone Girl Sex - 50 Shades |
I really enjoyed State of Wonder by Ann Patchett. It would be a good beach read. |
Death Comes to Pemberley is fun and easy. |
I love Kristin Hannah for a summer read.
My Favorites: Night Road Firefly Lane |
Gone Girl is GREAT! |
Wallbanger by Alice Clayton. Funniest book EVER! |
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Magical, riveting, fantastic!
Just finished The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton. Light mystery with likable characters. Definite page turner. I love all of the Tana French books. Mysteries that are psychological and crime driven. A little heavier than the former two. |
I did not like "Night Circus." I can see how someone would like it, though. Just too "strange" for me.
I recommend books by Jennifer Haigh. |
A Year in Provence and French Letters by Peter Mayle |
Dark Places and Sharp Objecys by the same author as gone Girls So much better than Gone girls . I loved them |
I just finished The End of Everything and I enjoyed it. It wasn't light though. |
Beautiful Day |
