Jealous toward gender of child

Have you ever had a family member jealous that you had the gender child they preferred to have? As in, they wanted a girl and had a boy while you had a girl?

Yes, there's a story in my family that my father's sister was jealous that he had girls (first) and she had boys. Seemed to be an issue of their father, my grandfather, doted on girls and she probably wanted to please him with a "favored" child.

Of course, this happens a lot. Have some sympathy for them!
