English Classes

I hired a new employee that just came into the country a month ago and wants to start taking English classes. I've looked around, but I can only find ones that are in the $700 range for 4 weeks.
I know it's probably not likely, but does anyone know of any english classes that are more affordable. She lives in NW, on Wisconsin.

I can't speak for DC, but in Arlington/Fairfax Co, English classes are often offered through churches and schools (Adult Ed.). I am sure the rate is much lower than that. So, you might want to look there.

Our au pair coordinator mentioned two English classes in DC:

You can try ESL classes @ any community college: NoVa, Montgomery Co, PG Co.
