| I need to make reservations for dinner/drinks in DC for Thurs. It is a business affair but needs to be hot/trendy/cool. The POV at the W Hotel is booked. Any other ideas? This was dumped on me at the last minute. |

It's going to be difficult to get a last-minute rez at a hot place.
Bandolero and Graffiato are super-casual but it's trendy because people around here sweat Mike Isabella. Even though they've both been open awhile. Do you want a full dinner? What about Bourbon Steak or BLT steak? They are sleek enough, if not new. Sei in Chinatown is gorgeous but I don't know if you could call it hot. Central is always well-received and the servers are just distant enough to make you feel like you're not quite knowledgeable enough to be there. You could maybe go to Le Diplomate if you can get there right at 5 or 5:30 and wait for a bit... |

13:19 here again. What about The Pig? Hipster farmhouse....
Mintwood Place? |
| Thanks! Got them in at Central. We shall see how they like it. I really appreciate your help! I am terrible about restaurant knowledge since I have Celiac disease. Lol! |
| Great! I think they will. Have you read some of the reviews? I feel responsible for the success of your event now, haha. Good luck and tell us how it goes! |
This was hysterical!! Spot on. |
| I was going to suggest Rasika (either location) but you'll do fine at Central. Fiola is also pretty current and business-appropriate. |
Update: Your suggestion was fabulous! The business meal went very well. Success!! Thank you again! |
