Preschools in/near Old Town Alexandria

My son is almost 15 months old. I am just starting the preschool search and already feel behind the ball. Can anyone offer me suggestions about how to go about this process? Additionally, what schools would you recommend/not recommend in/near Old Town?

Washington Street United Methodist Church (starts at 2 years)
St. Paul's (part of St. Paul's Episcopal Church)
Old Town Montessori

Outside Old Town
MOPS - Trinity Untied Methodist Church -- In Rosemont
St Luke's -- our toward Mr. Vernon on Fort Hunt
