| We are in a food rut restaurant-wise. Any ideas for good, kid-friendly food NOT in downtown Bethesda, but somewhat closeby?? Thank you!! |

yirasai sushi off river road
cava mezze (tenleytown -much bigger than the bethesda one and easy to find parking) geppetto in wildwood |
| You need to go up to Wheaton or Rockville. In the former, Max's for the falafel and schwarma (closed saturday's, Nava Thai and Ruan Thai, and Hollywood East. In the latter, Joe's noodle house, A and J, and China bistro. |
| These are great- keep em coming!!! Thanks |
| Mosaic at Congressional Plaza. |
| Wildwood Kitchen! |
|
in Wheaton Woomi Gardens (Korean bbq), Full Key (Chinese), Moby Dick (sushi), Oriental East for dim sum, Parkway Deli
Like Yirasai too. Even though it's in Bethesda, I like Lebanese Taverna. Mediterranean House Of Kabob on Rockville Pike in Rockville. |
| The Parkway Deli isn't in Wheaton. It's in Chevy Chase. |
+1 In downtown Bethesda Yamas is pretty good and Guardado's for tapas. |
Yes to Ruan Thai. Tried it for the first time last week and can't wait to go back. The ramen place next door is very good too, though very crowded. |
Technically, it's Silver Spring |
Yamas & Mosiac are both great I find Cava Mezze terrible. They meat is always desiccated and the staff indifferent. |
You're right. But walk a few paces outside the door to the other side of the street, and you're in Chevy Chase. |
Actually, it's in SS. |
If you're talking about kid-friendly, the important thing is, it's near Candy Cane City. Take the kiddos there and tire them out first. Then off to the deli for a nosh. |
