Like Yirasai too.

The Parkway Deli isn't in Wheaton. It's in Chevy Chase.

Yes to Ruan Thai. Tried it for the first time last week and can't wait to go back. The ramen place next door is very good too, though very crowded.

Yamas & Mosiac are both great
I find Cava Mezze terrible. They meat is always desiccated and the staff indifferent.

You're right. But walk a few paces outside the door to the other side of the street, and you're in Chevy Chase.

If you're talking about kid-friendly, the important thing is, it's near Candy Cane City. Take the kiddos there and tire them out first. Then off to the deli for a nosh.
