That said, there are three sides to every story, his, hers, and the truth. I only met Natasha once during my internship but I worked with/for Kane 2-3 times a week, every week, for a year. That guy is one of the most amazing guys I know. He works hard for his show and his family and he truly does care about people. He helped me get to where I am today with my career. Don't get me wrong, he's not perfect and who knows what he's like at home but it just sucks to see him and his family going through this. With him being a public figure, children involved, and just the way this has played out so far I can tell that this is gonna be an ugly divorce. Last thing, while I do believe he had to address the issue on-air because people kept asking I do think he could have kept the details to himself. A simple, "Natasha and I have decided to end our marriage and that's all I'm going to say. please respect my family's privacy." <-- That would have suffice. I do believe he's in a bit of the wrong for going into details and painting Natasha as a monster, even if it might be true that was still a messed up thing to do.

Ummm we need more dirt from this poster. Tell us more from the transition. How ugly was it really between Sarah and Danni?

Not PP but i believe Sarah left (of her own accord, she was clearly pissed at Kane) and Danni came afterwards. I'm a long time listener (think since the show began) so i believe this is correct, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. I DON'T believe Danni replaced Sarah in the sense that Kane wanted her on the show and pushed Sarah out. She was hired after.

Sarah was not pushed out, she left to pursue goals in NYC. Danni was phased in here and there between the announcement that was made when Sarah left, and then once Sarah left, Danni was made permanent a few weeks later.

The fact Kane rarely gets involved in radio events is telling in my opinion. If he really cares about his listeners, he would be out more. Kids are no excuse, there are countless radio people in the DJ area with kids yet they promote their own station, whether it is a charity event, a furniture store, a mall, or something else.

I forget what Peter was talking about at the time (maybe how not having plans or canceling plans can make your life less stressful?), but a few weeks back he said he "really didn't want to go somewhere and shake hands with Joe Blow [my words, not his..don't remember exactly]," referring to radio events. He quickly backtracked and said something like "but I do love meeting listeners..I don't mean to say I don't.."

WOW. How recent was this? Maybe this was on the podcast somewhere.

Some people compare his OCD to Howie Mandel.

You could always listen to something else, there is plenty of competition in the DC area. Imagine if the Sports Junkies on 106.7 dumped Cakes, for example. and replaced him with someone else. The chemistry would take a hit, and probably would lose listeners in the process. That is what Kane is probably realizing, he knows the newbies do not blend as well as the old bunch did.

I think this whole Natasha divorce /on-air explosion is what has started everything unraveling. Maybe its from reading this forum and seeing people with mutual feelings, but ever since it happened I feel like the show is quickly going downhill and all of the dynamics have changed. John seems like a teenage boy irritated or embarrassed by most things his dad (Kane) says, responds even more sarcastically and flippantly.

Kane mentioned they are all staying in one hotel room in Vegas and said "who will hook up?" Hmmm more like who will Rose try to hook up with to get a co-host spot?

Danni is on an emotional downward spiral as well

I was talking to someone in radio recently, and he was saying that the number 1 rule is you have to maintain control on air or else you're done. It seems Kane has been legitimately been losing control over his show, rather than a controlled chaos where people intentionally take opposite sides to create a conversation. He freaks out when someone gets attention or if the topic even slightly changes before it's supposed to.

Does anyone else laugh when John talks about his beginning days in radio when he *had* a speech impediment? hahaha it's still there buddy

That makes sense, as sometimes ego's get in the way.

Natasha - a monster ? Pretty much......She is Spanish and all the Latinas are very emotional......They were just a wrong match. She is not a princess but she just acted like one.
Kane needs an equal. Just my opinion.

PS - Peter, since you're reading this..stop introducing topics you KNOW your staff will have inappropriate responses about and then acting shocked/disturbed when they make those comments.

Like last week when Kane said he was down on PDA and when Danni mentioned that he's probably down on PDA because his own love life isn't the best right now. Then Kane acted like he couldn't believe Danni mentioned this and stated that he will not talk about his relationships. Does he not realize that he's the one that brought it up in the first place?

Do you not realize zero about him that is authentic? It's all planned and fake.

I don't care how fake the Kane show is, I still find it extremely entertaining
