As for 12:16 - usually true, but at least with WO, the director made some better choices than I would ever have imagined, and even in some cases than the author chose, yet the movie remained totally true to the book. |

I would say that the True Blood series is significantly better than the Sookie Stackhouse books in general.
The books spend a lot of time focusing on how thrifty Sookie is, how often she shops at Walmart, and her love of tanning. |
