Thinking about moving down to the Annapolis area. I've done my research and feel either Mayo or Davidsonville would be good fits for my children. Does anyone have any experience with either of these schools are feedback on other AA Co schools that I should consider? Mayo looks newish, small classes, and test scores seem great. Both schools are lacking in the diversity department which isn't great. Thoughts? Feedback? Experience?

| I live in Annapolis. Davidsonville is much better than Mayo, but you're right that there is not much diversity. The public schools are great as long as your kid doesn't have an IEP. I pulled my son out of AACPS this year because the horrible way they were handling his IEP. I hired an advocate who suggested I get an attorney. I decided to just pull him out and put him in a non-public special ed school rather than dealing with attorneys, etc. |
