White Oaks Elementary AAP

My DC was accepted into the AAP program at White Oaks. Does anyone have any information about this school's program? I have heard that quite a few students have returned to their base school this year and am curious if this school has a good program.

Child is happy there. Over the last few years, they went from two classes, to three, and now four classes of entering students. Perhaps the " old teachers" overwhelmed and maybe " new" teachers getting in the groove? I don't know. I believe the curric is the same but maybe the dynamics are changing? With so many from our base school now in aap, probably makes more sense to have a " center" in every school-although a lot of people disagree. I am fine with either so don't want to derail your thread on that. Give it a try. Our child went with best friend so not an issue but it is hard on a lot of kids if they don't. Good luck.

The principal is retiring after this year so things may change with a new principal running the school.
