Any feedback welcome and appreciated

This is kind of indirect but a good number of my daughter's friends in high school went to Nysmith and they seem exceptionally well prepared, particularly in math.

I don't have a child there but I have heard nothing but good things about it.

I, too, would like to hear about anyone's first-hand experience at Nysmith. I do know that it is for-profit, which for a school is so unusual as to seem bizarre to me. (For-profit also means it does not receive the oversight of one of the usual independent schools' accrediting bodies.) It is run by the founder's son, who as far as I can tell does not have significant educational credentials, and has been heartily slammed on online school review sites. BUT in our experience, there is nothing like an exclusively gifted educational environment.

I have a friend with a kid there
The Mom loves it, so they commute from Loudon
The Dad thinks it's a crock, and that they're too rigid in respect to letting kids blow off steam
