I think/hope the whole molecular gastronomy thing is passing by. El Bulli closed, after all.

Though people (Tom, anyway) seem to like Rogue 24. I think that's where the cool kids are going for that kind of thing.

El Bulli is closed because Ferran Adria created The Bulli Foundation for research purposes. Elbullifoundation.org
I am not a big fan of nouvelle cuisine or molecular gastronomy either, but it is rather interesting.
