My 18 month old terrier is just staring at the books on my bookshelf without moving.

It's so funny, yet spooky. She does this thing where she turns her back to me when I'm sitting at my desk and sits directly in front of the book case and stares at it for several minutes, then staggers a little bit and starts to walk in circles in place and then lies down and takes a nap. Then she chirp/barks in her sleep for about 2 hours straight. She then wakes up and is a total pain in the ass from 4 o'clock until bedtime. 4 kids come home at 4, gah.

My cat is sitting on the other side of my laptop, staring at me over the screen and mewling plaintively.

That means it's lunchtime.

There's an ultrasonic transmitter inside one of your books. Aliens are sending instructions to her that she can hear but you cannot. I'd get rid of the dog before the aliens abduct you based on information that your dog has been giving them about you.

There's a farting mouse hiding in the books. Only the terrier hears it.

Hahahaha!!!!!!

My cat sits and watches me do the weirdest things. Jumping jacks, brush my hair, read a book, etc.

I guess since animals cannot technically entertain themselves like us humans, then they use us humans to entertain THEM!

What do you expect; it's a terrier. They can be great dogs but some are true neurotics

My terrier mix parked herself in front of the fireplace for a week. She was completed fixated on it.

We heard noises the following week coming from that general direction and called a pest control company. They evacuated a family of raccoons from the chimney.
