School board results?

When one party holds all seats, you aren't being represented, you are being ruled. Enjoy!

It’s called paying for tutoring, enrichment camps and having your children do Great Books.

Jeez stop whining.

Thats right. Why would I expect the school to educate my children beyond the lowest common denominator. Equity does not allow this.

The good news is I can and do provide those opportunities for my kids. The bad news is many can't provide those things. Enjoy.

Putting aside the anti-woman roots of the word “hysteria,” it’s the people who have decided that men can be women that are off their rockers.

For most voters this isn’t a big deal as they trust (and the majority are indeed correct) that it won’t be *their* child that is directly harmed physically by this nonsense.

But you are ok with someone not valuing academics in a school? I don't know that any of the people running were against LGBTQ. I just know that some of them were against hearing about it as a main focus with books and bathrooms.

It actually is a strategy to elect people to cancel each other out and not let them go further in one direction. It's why the house and senate often are opposing parties or why the president is often an opposing party to the congress.

I bet E3 and SBG has a much profound change on the landscape for students than any change that would have been brought about by having one or two people of another party.

Can we give this board a chance before acting like the sky is falling?

Welcome to a school system headed the way of Baltimore and NYC.

Make money and ensure your own children’s success.

My DDs are much more at risk from cis-gender guys at their school than any transgender girls.

Well we have no choice.

The superintendent hasn't changed and it's the same party ruling though, so there is no reason to expect anything different.

No, hysteria works best when it's not based on facts.

And yet you based your voting on suppositions so its ok for you? We all do. That's what voting is.

You’re exaggerating.

Some ES and a few MS. A few HS courses.

Please let my son know that there is no homework in high school so he can stop doing the 2-3 hours of it he has every night with studying…he will be thrilled

What suppositions do you think I’m basing my vote on?

+1
It's "optional" if you want to get Ds.

There is not a single SB member who doesn't value academics. Why do you keep holding up what YOU believe to be true about the candidates and then thinking we must not care about those things. I have a PhD--I most definitely care about academics--and I voted Democrat because I think they will do better all around, even on academics.

Maybe they would have had a chance.
